SBI PO Syllabus 2024: The SBI PO syllabus is very similar to that of any other bank exam. There are three major sections that a candidate needs to prepare to ace the preliminary exam. These are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The sections have a wide range of topics on which questions are based. It is recommended that candidates have a look at the previous year’s papers and know about the weightage of each topic.

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2024

State Bank of India (SBI) conducts 2 stages of online examination i.e. Preliminary and Mains. Only the candidates qualifying in both stages will be eligible to appear for the interview round. SBI PO Descriptive Test

The Descriptive Paper of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Besides the preliminary exam and the main exam, an interview process is also conducted for candidates who qualify the first two phases of SBI PO exam.

The final merit list is made based on marks obtained by a candidate in his/ her main exam and interview process.

SBI PO Syllabus 2024: FAQs

There are three subjects in SBI PO 2024 Prelims Exam which are Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language and 5 subjects in mains exam which are Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Data Interpretation & Analysis and General/Economy/Banking Awareness.

The negative marking scheme is applicable for SBI PO Preliminary and Mains exam. The 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer in both rounds of the SBI PO examination.

The description test is based on English Language, in which a candidate have to write a Letter and an Essay for 50 Marks.

The Prelims exam will have a total of 100 questions while there will be 155 questions in the SBI PO Mains exam excluding Descriptive Paper.
